November 6–7, 2026 | Quadra Island, British Columbia
What happens when the lights go down at one of Vancouver Island’s most intriguing historic inns?
On November 6 and 7, the Heriot Bay Inn on Quadra Island will open its doors to paranormal enthusiasts for two nights of investigation, led by the experienced team at Beyond Belief Paranormal Events.
Dating back more than a century, the inn has a long history of reported unexplained activity. Local stories include an elderly woman said to be waiting for her husband to return from the sea and the spirit of a logger reportedly killed following a bar fight.
Whether these accounts have a supernatural explanation remains an open question, but they provide an intriguing backdrop for a weekend of paranormal investigation.
Participants will have the opportunity to explore areas of the inn associated with reported activity, learn investigative techniques, and use a range of paranormal equipment. The programme also includes reviewing evidence and examining findings from previous investigations.
The event is suitable for both experienced investigators and newcomers interested in learning how paranormal investigations are conducted.
